Functional and technical support visit to Rostov Nuclear Power Plant
Experts from WANO Moscow Centre confirmed that Rostov NPP meets high standards in the field of nuclear energy.
The international organisation's visit to the enterprise took place as part of the industry initiative “Action for Excellence” from October 27 to 30, 2025.
A team of WANO Moscow Centre experts completed a mission to Rostov NPP and confirmed the high level of safety of the nuclear power plant. The experts' visit to the plant was part of the industry initiative “Action for Excellence”, aimed at achieving and maintaining the highest possible level of safety and reliability at nuclear power plants.
WANO representatives reviewed key areas of RNPP performance, including organisational effectiveness, operations and operational focus, maintenance and repair, work management, engineering and technical support, and equipment reliability. They also conducted work observations, interviews with employees, and performed a selective analysis of plant’s documentation.
