At Novovoronezh NPP, Russian and foreign nuclear professionals exchanged experience in the field of leadership and safety culture
Moscow Centre of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO MC) conducted a training seminar for nuclear plant shift supervisors on the topic of leadership and safety culture at the Novovoronezh NPP site.
The event was attended by specialists from seven Russian nuclear power plants, as well as representatives from Armenia, China and the Republic of Belarus. In total, the seminar brought together about 30 nuclear professionals.
WANO MC specialists have developed a rich program for the course. It covered a variety of topics, from more general principles of nuclear leadership and nuclear safety culture to highly specialized topics such as the role of nuclear power plant shift supervisors in emergency preparedness.
