The work is at a high level!
At summing up of Beloyarsk NPP review, which took place last week, WANO Moscow Centre experts noted that in the areas reviewed, the nuclear power plant performance is at a high level.
Five functional experts – WANO MC advisers and WANO Onsite-representatives at three Russian nuclear plants - conducted a Beloyarsk NPP review in the Enhanced Performance Monitoring area, which includes such performance areas as operation, priority operational goals, organizational effectiveness, maintenance and repair , engineering support, equipment reliability, work management.
During the review, experts collected information, discussed the collected facts, observed the work, conducted interviews with personnel, analyzed documentation and issued their recommendations.
Experts noted that the station employees fully use their knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure reliable and safe operation of equipment; there is an effective balance of mentoring: experienced employees share their competencies with young people.
