Safety culture at NPP

A training support mission of WANO Moscow Centre “Leadership and Safety Culture in Nuclear Energy” took place at Rostov plant.

Managers and specialists, including safety culture officers, together with experts, analyzed interaction patterns, discussed aspects of leadership and observed good practices.

“The priority for nuclear specialists is always the same – producing electricity in a safe way. And an important aspect here is the active position of managers and personnel, based on the desire to create and maintain an atmosphere of openness and trust in safety matters. We are grateful to the experts for their knowledge and experience and are ready to share practices in the field of safety culture,” emphasized chief engineer Andrey Gorbunov.
