WANO gave all Rostov NPP power units the highest rating in terms of safety and efficiency
Rostov NPP has reached the top level in terms of safety and efficiency indicators of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO). New data (as of the end of the 2024 1st quarter) were presented by WANO Moscow Centre.
Today, all four power units of our nuclear power plant have the highest safety and efficiency index in the WANO rating system.
At the WANO MC Directors’ Conference, which was held recently in Moscow, Rostov NPP experience was considered within the framework of the “Action for Excellence” direction. The goal of this industry initiative is to eliminate or minimize events that affect the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
