A WANO training member support mission in the field of safety was completed at Rostov NPP
A WANO Moscow Centre support mission on the topic “Experience in organizing monitoring of personnel work (analysis of comments, development and implementation of corrective measures) at other nuclear power plants” was completed at the Rostov NPP site. The training was initiated by the Rostov NPP personnel.
During the training, WANO experts shared with nuclear plant workers their experience in applying methods for monitoring the personnel work in terms of interaction with employees, developing behavior patterns and positive incentives. The focus is on the specifics of conducting paired observations, the influence of feedback on the effectiveness of work with personnel, discussion of behavioral aspects and important issues of operation and safety. And also - for processing the results of observations: recording deficiencies, making checklists, analyzing deficiencies, identifying corrective measures and applying them in practice.
