Approaches and practices for reproduction

Experts from Moscow Centre of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) conducted a member support mission at Novovoronezh NPP on the topic “Preparation for decommissioning of a multi-unit NPP power unit, shut down for decommissioning as part of a double unit (in one main building, one of the units is operated in extended service life mode)”.

The mission team included representatives of the WANO Moscow Centre, managers and specialists of Rosenergoatom, VNIIAES, the Moscow branch of Atomenergoproekt, NIKIET, TVEL, as well as Armenian NPP. During the mission, issues related to the decommissioning of power units with VVER reactors were examined in detail.
