XII International School on Safety Culture
On September 14, the XII International School on Safety Culture “Developing Leadership for Safety Purposes” completed its work in St. Petersburg. The event was held in a hybrid format.

The school brought together over 170 participants at the St. Petersburg branch of the Rosatom Technical Academy, including specialists and managers of the nuclear industry, doctors of science, IAEA representatives, employees of leading industrial enterprises, as well as experts from international organizations and large Russian industrial companies.

During the master classes, speakers shared practical knowledge on personnel qualifications, leadership and shaping safety culture. During the discussion, the participants came to the conclusion about the importance of studying safety culture fundamentals in school and college. According to experts, this will help to become one step closer to achieving “zero” injuries not only in the nuclear industry, but also in other areas of life.
