Training course at Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant
From April 8 to 10, 2026, a training course on “Managers at in the Field: Observation and Coaching” was held jointly by Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant and WANO Moscow Centre.
The training course was attended by 40 representatives from Kalinin, Kursk, and Novovoronezh nuclear power plants, as well as representatives from Rosenergoatom, Kalininatomenergoremont - an Atomenergoremont branch, VNIIAES, Rosatom Technical Academy, and Armenian NPP.
Participants highly praised the training course, noting the relevance of the topic and the potential for implementing coaching as a personnel management tool. Practical exercises on operating equipment mockups, conducted in the training units of Kalinin NPP on the second day of the training, allowed participants to apply their acquired knowledge and practice observation methods and coaching techniques.
