Beloyarsk NPP Peer Review
From November 6 to 21, 2025, WANO Moscow Centre conducted a peer review of Beloyarsk NPP, the purpose of which was to assess the plant's activities to improve the level of safe and reliable operation of the NPP.
The peer review team consisted of 20 experts representing five countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Pakistan, and Russia. The team was led by WANO MC Adviser Viktor Livinsky.
The peer review covered all fundamental, functional, and general operational areas. Additionally, the peer review included an assessment of the nuclear safety culture.
At the final meeting, Yuri Nosov, Beloyarsk NPP director, thanked the peer review team experts and the plant's counter-parts for their fruitful collaboration, which was aimed at further improving safety and reliability of the plant's operation.
