Member Support Mission at Rostov NPP
From 26 to 30 August, 2024, WANO Moscow Centre conducted a member support mission (MSM) at Rostov NPP on the topic “Leadership and Safety Culture in Nuclear Energy”.
MSM Team Composition:
• Evgeniy Kovalev (WANO MC).
• Tatyana Melnitskaya (Rosatom Technical Academy).
• Anna Tatarinova (WANO MC).
• Sergey Loktionov (WANO MC).
• Igor Lipunov (Kalinin NPP).
The support mission was conducted in a training format. The following WANO documents were reviewed: “PL ǀ 2019-1 Nuclear Leadership Effectiveness Attributes” and “GL 2021-01 “Leader in the Field Programme””. The issues of manager-leader motivational competence and stress resistance development were separately considered. Practical observations and coaching sessions were conducted.
The WANO MC MSM team presented the results of their work to Rostov NPP at the final meeting.
