Member Support Mission at Kola NPP
From 23 to 26 July, 2024, WANO Moscow Centre conducted a member support mission (MSM) at Kola NPP on the topic “Work on switching forms”.
MSM team composition:
• Evgeniy Kovalev (WANO Moscow Centre).
• Roman Naryzhny (Rostov NPP).
• Oleg Ryabov (Smolensk NPP).
• Roman Solovyanov (Kalinin NPP).
• Vyacheslav Neuimin (Beloyarsk NPP).
The MSM was conducted in a training format. Experts presented their experience in using switching forms for their nuclear power plants. The following WANO documents were reviewed: “SOER ǀ 2013-1 Deficiencies in operator fundamentals implementation” and “WANO GL 2002-02 Principles for excellence in human performance”.
The WANO MC MSM team presented the results of their work to Kola NPP in the form of a final report.
