Member Support Mission on “Organizational Diagnostic” at Kursk NPP

From 28 August to 1 September 2023, WANO Moscow Centre conducted a support mission (MSM) using the “Organizational Diagnostic” method at Kursk NPP.

The following experts took part in the WANO mission:

• Sergey Shishkin (WANO MC),

• Andrey Podoprigora (WANO MC),
• Anna Tatarinova (WANO MC).

The purpose of the support mission using the Organizational Diagnostic methodology is to promote improvement in the area of leadership, professional experience exchange and increase organizational effectiveness.

MSM experts proposed new principles for study, set out in WANO guidelines for improving the efficiency of performance. Carrying out organizational diagnostic at Kursk NPP makes it possible to analyze the plant’s activities, as well as reach a new qualitative level and ensure competitiveness in global energy markets.

At the final meeting with the Kursk NPP management, experts presented a draft report on the MSM results and proposals for improving performance.
