Member Support Mission at the FNPP Training Centre
From 05 to 07 July 2023, WANO Moscow Centre conducted a support mission (MSM) on the topic: ‘Operator fundamentals’ implementation failures’ at the FNPP training centre (St. Petersburg), while qualificating the personnel of the FNPP central control panel.
The following experts took part in the WANO mission:
• Galim Musin (WANO MC, Russia)
• Anatoly Muravyov (Novovoronezh NPP, Russia)
• Sergey Ershuev (Smolensk NPP, Russia)
• Oleg Shevchenko (Leningrad NPP, Russia)
The MSM purpose was to obtain practical recommendations for improving performance on the MSM topic at FNPP.
The issues of interest to FNPP are listed below:
• Preparation and implementation of switching on equipment that affects reliable and safe operation.
• Interaction with the power system dispatcher in case of deficiencies in the operation of equipment affecting generation.
