International workshop in Energodar (Ukraine)

On 19 – 23 November 2018 the international workshop on Simulators for Plant/Contractor Maintenance Personnel Training. Zaporozhye Plant Maintenance Personnel Training Center, jointly organized by Zaporozhye NPP and WANO Moscow Centre, was held in Energodar, Zaporizhzhya region (Ukraine).

Representatives of NPPs and utilities from 6 countries of the world participated in the workshop: Armenia, Bulgaria, Ukraine (including 14 representatives of the Zaporozhye NPP), Slovakia, Czech Republic, China and organizations: SE "NAEK "Energoatom", GSP"Chernobyl NPP", Ukrainian state University of chemical technology.

The workshop participants discussed presentations on the workshop topic:
Maintenance personnel training system for nuclear-energy complex. Development of practical skills of maintenance personnel.
Based on the Zaporozhye NPP training center there was developed a special training complex for a special maintenance personnel training including:

Module programs of maintenance “Energoatom” personnel training based on the special training complex of the raining center;

Instructor’s guidelines for a practical training and assessment at the simulators of the special training complex of the raining center;

Multi-media based training modules for maintenance personnel training.

International experience of practical training during unit decommissioning.

The participants highly appreciated delivered workshop, pointed out actuality and applicability of all workshop’s topics.

The workshop results, which are be executed in the form of the memo and sent to the participants, were discussed at the closing meeting.
