WANO Moscow Centre will hold a SOER Training seminar to prepare new reviewers for assessing the implementation status of SOER recommendations at nuclear power plants. The seminar will take place in-person on 26-27 August 2026 at the WANO MC, Moscow, Russian Federation.

The goal of the Seminar
The seminar aims to train new experts and share experiences in assessing the implementation status of SOER recommendations at NPPs.
Participation in the seminar will allow attendees to be invited as experts in future WANO MC events to assess the implementation of SOER recommendations at various NPPs in the Moscow Center, and obtain useful experience in working with SOER for implementation at NPPs.

Topics of the Seminar
Managers and specialists from nuclear power plants and organizations are invited to participate in the seminar to discuss the following topics:
• SOER Overview
• Methodology and Process for Assessing the Implementation status of WANO SOER Recommendations;
• Detailed explanation of more complicated SOER recommendations and assessment methods of their implementation status.
• Questions and discussions.

Targeted Audience
Station and companies staff of WANO MC Member who work in the field of SOER recommendations implementation, are invited to take part in the seminar.

Working Language
Russian and English. WANO MC will arrange simultaneous interpretation.
